ESPN Basketball Host, Analyst & Reporter

Andraya Carter joined ESPN in 2018 as a game analyst, working primarily on SEC Network, and recently signed a new multi-year extension in an expanded role. Over the past three years, Carter has established herself as one of the rising stars of ESPN’s comprehensive basketball coverage and is currently the only analyst that covers NBA, WNBA, NCAAW and NCAAM basketball. In addition to her analyst role on women’s College GameDay the past three seasons, in 2024, Andraya became the first woman desk analyst ever on men’s College GameDay.

The Lady Vol for Life has earned a significant amount of acclaim thus far, as she was honored as the 2023 Dawn Staley Excellence in Broadcasting recipient, a 2022 University of Tennessee Alumni Promise Award winner, the University of Tennessee 2023 40 under 40, NSMA’s Best Young Reporter for 2022, was named to The Athletic’s 40 Under 40: Rising Stars in Women’s Basketball, The Athletic’s 40 Under 40 in College Sports and The Athletic’s 20 for 20: Who’s Shaping the Future of Women’s Basketball. Carter was also a 2023 Sports Emmy nominee in the Emerging On-Air Talent category.

The Atlanta native is a double graduate of The University of Tennessee and was a three-year letterwinner for the Lady Vols.
