Andrea Berloff is an American screenwriter, theater actress, and producer. Her first produced script is World Trade Center, a historical drama about the September 11, 2001 attacks, starring Nicolas Cage and directed by Oliver Stone. She also co-wrote the 2015 biographical drama Straight Outta Compton, based on the early history and rise to prominence of the rap group N.W.A.

In 2019, Berloff will make her directorial debut with The Kitchen, a film starring Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish, and Elisabeth Moss.
