Andrew Fitzgerald is a writer, editor and Tweeter.

As a member of the News and Journalism Partnerships team at Twitter, Fitzgerald explores creative uses of digital storytelling on the platform and elsewhere on the web.

In 2012 he helped launch the first Twitter Fiction Festival, a five-day "event" that took place completely on Twitter in an effort to bring together stories that made creative use of the platform.

In his spare time Fitzgerald blogs and writes his own fiction, including the 2010 novel The Collective.

He lives in New York, where he likes to experiment.
