Andrew Hohns  

Adjunct Assistant Professor

Andrew Hohns became affiliated with NYU-Stern as a Research Fellow and Visiting Scholar in 2012. He was appointed to the NYU Faculty as Adjunct Assistant Professor in 2013. His current research interests include the design of institutions and rules relating to ethical issues within global commerce, banking policy, international capital markets, and socially responsible/impact investing.

In addition to his academic responsibilities, Professor Hohns serves as a Managing Director at Mariner Investment Group, where he responsible for strategies related to infrastructure and bank deleveraging.

Professor Hohns holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a Masters in Liberal Arts from the School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania, and a PhD in Applied Economics and Managerial Sciences from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. His dissertation topic, Justice and Infrastructure, explored the extent of the funding gap in project finance while developing several financial institution-based solutions to better satisfy the world's infrastructure capital needs.
