Appointed to the position in March 2010 by decree of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych. Co-founder of the expert seminar "Ukrainian club." Since 2000 - president of the Center for Social Research "Sophia" (Kyiv). The Centre is engaged in researching and elaborating development strategies, political and economic analyses of private and public institutions, development and implementation of political technologies. From 1997-1999, Mr. Yermolaev worked as an expert on the Staff of the Prime Minister of Ukraine, and as an assistant to the Prime Minister. In 1996-1997,he was the executive director, head of information and analytical service for the all-Ukrainian charitable foundation "Our Future". In 1994-1996, he worked as a senior consultant in the information and analytical service of the Administration of the President of Ukraine. In 1992, Mr. Yermolaev graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy, at the Taras Shevchenko State University in Kyiv.
