Andy Tay is interested in the biomechanical forces that impact the cells in your body. This has given him insight in treating chronic pain, which affects millions of people all over the world. To that end, he's helped develop a magnetic gel that can use used to treat pain without the use of drugs or other invasive therapies. He is on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list and has received the Tony B. Academic Travel Award through the Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening.
