Andy Laats is the co-founder and CEO of Nixon Inc., a leading global brand known for its high-quality, stylish watches and accessories. Prior to co-founding Nixon in 1997, Laats worked as a product manager for Burton Snowboards, and he holds patents in both snowboard and watch design. His vision for Nixon was driven by the desire to create a brand that captured the spirit of adventure and the unique lifestyle of those who sought quality, performance, and design in their accessories. The company quickly became known for its distinctive style and craftsmanship, with an emphasis on watches that combined functionality with cutting-edge design.

Laats’ work with Nixon has expanded beyond watches, with the brand now offering a variety of lifestyle products, including bags, headphones, and other accessories. Laats, who became a single parent after the loss of his wife to ovarian cancer, shares his experiences by serving on the advisory boards of cancer support organizations such as Camp Kesem and the American Cancer Society.

He received his BS in mechanical engineering from Cornell University.
