Aneesh is currently a Project Director with The New Teachers Project (TNTP). In this role, he supports school districts on a variety of issues, with a current focus on implementation of college and career ready standards.

Prior to joining TNTP, Aneesh worked at the Tennessee Department of Education as the Chief of Staff for Teachers and Leaders, working on a number of policies impacting teachers and leaders including the state’s rollout of a multiple-measure teacher and principal evaluation system.

He began his career in education as a Teach For America corps member and English teacher at Opportunity High School in Minneapolis. He holds a M.P.P. from Vanderbilt University and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Minnesota.
