Latin Mental Health Counselor

Angelita Salado, M.Ed., is a prominent Latin professional woman with over twenty-five years of combined experience as a counselor and communications for the Hispanic media. She received a Bachelor Degree in Psychology from the World Dominican University and another in Art in Communication from the prestigious School of Communication at the University of the Sacred Heart, Puerto Rico. Ms. Salado also received a Masters Degree in Counseling in Education from Turabo University, South Florida Campus. Angelita Salado has a proven track record of community involvement. With her considerable compassion, integrity, respect, and commitment, Mrs. Salado cares deeply about children and families. She is a strong advocate for people with disabilities, which leads her to be a Delegate for The Family Cafe. Ms. Salado was an outstanding volunteer spokeswoman from 2005 to 2010 with The American Red Cross of Greater Miami & the Florida Keys. Ms. Salado started her career in the communications media when she was residing at her homeland of the Dominican Republic. She was co-owner of a magazine. She also had the great experience of co-hosting with Don Francisco Alvarez Castellanos in Como en Botica a daily TV Show on Teleantillas (channel 13). She also aired her own TV Show Presencia on Teleantillas too. Presently, Angelita Salado is hosting Angelita with the Community an educational Spanish radio show on the 91.3 WXAC Albright College Radio, every Monday at 11:00 am.
