Senior Vice President at Viacom Media Networks and Head of its Creative Consulting Team

Anne advises companies, organizations and movements on their strategy, message and brand. With special affection for the Millennial generation, she is a lifelong student of how ideas move through culture, and that curiosity feeds her work with clients.

Most recently, Anne served as Special Advisor for Millennial Engagement on Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign, where she consulted across campaign functions during the general election to engage voters under 35. Previously, she worked as Senior Vice President at Viacom, leading Scratch, a creative consultancy she helped imagine and build. Scratch guides organizations and leaders through transformational change, applying the cultural and audience expertise of Viacom to develop insights, strategy, messages, content, products and experiences that resonate. Anne joined Viacom in 2008 and, first worked in Development & Programming at MTV360 and Integrated Programming at mtvU, MTV’s college network. Anne also worked on Capitol Hill as a policy advisor to U.S. Senator Jon Corzine, covering a range of issues including technology, gun safety and the economy. She spent time in management consulting at BCG and in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in St. Louis, her hometown.

She regularly serves as an expert resource on Millennials and their impact on the brands, industries and movements that are changing the world. She has been featured at TEDxEast, the United Nations, SXSW, Harvard Business School, Yale University and Goldman Sachs, and has addressed audiences in North and South America, Europe and Asia, including Fortune 500 companies, elected officials, political campaigns, and a variety of industry summits for media, automotive, financial services and sustainability audiences.

Anne holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a JD from Harvard Law School and a BS in Symbolic Systems from Stanford. She serves on the executive board of Venture for America and has found home in New York with her husband.
