Anne Korin  

Co-director of the Institute for the Analysis of Global Security

Anne Korin is co-director of the Institute for the Analysis of Global Security (IAGS), a Washington-based think-tank focused on energy security.

Korin chairs the Set America Free Coalition, a strange bedfellow alliance promoting ways to reduce America's dependence on foreign oil. She appears in the media frequently and has written articles for Foreign Affairs, The American Interest, National Review, Commentary magazine, and the Journal of International Security Affairs.

In May 2008, Korin testified before the House Committee on Foreign Affairs.

She is co-editor of "Energy Security Challenges for the 21-Century." She is co-author of "Turning Oil into Salt: Energy Independence Through Fuel Choice."

Ms. Korin appears frequently on Capitol Hill and her advice is sought by members of Congress. Her education includes an engineering degree in computer science from Johns Hopkins University and is working towards a doctorate at Stanford University.
