Annie Brock

Founding Partner of John Maxwell Team, Strategy Consultant, Inspirational Teacher, Executive Coach

Annie Brock’s 30+ year immersion in the multi-sector environment empowers her success as a strategy consultant, inspirational teacher, and executive coach known for generating and implementing innovative breakthrough ideas.

Having grown up as an Army brat, Annie embarked upon a new and nearly ten year adventure with the US Army after college. She became one of the first 100 women assigned to the 82d Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, NC, graduated from the Jumpmaster Course, earned her Senior Parachutist Badge, and received a Direct Commission to the Medical Service Corps, becoming a medevac helicopter pilot, flying Hueys and Blackhawks.

A wonderful stroke of luck led Annie to meet the man who would become her husband at an Air Force officers’ club in Germany. As a military wife and mother, she homeschooled their two daughters and has been the owner of several small businesses, including as a Sales Director with Mary Kay Cosmetics, where she earned the privilege to drive a free company automobile. An active volunteer in the civilian and military communities, she breathes life into her passion for exciting and inspiring others by serving as a mentor and member of the Advisory Board for the eMentor Program and as a Lifetime Girl Scout. A past Chair of the Harford County (Maryland) Commission on Veterans’ Affairs, she currently serves as President of the Susquehanna Chapter, Military Officer Association of America.

Annie is a Founding Partner of the John Maxwell Team; was a co-chair for the 2012 John Maxwell Team international youth leadership campaign, and was one of 150 coaches who accompanied John Maxwell to Guatemala (June 2013) to teach transformational leadership. She has keynoted and presented workshops at Towson University and Harford Community College, and is profiled as one of the 2015 Women of Influence in I95 Business Magazine’s February 2015 issue. Annie’s accolades include Honorary Member, Golden Key International Honour Society; the Department of the Army Commander’s Award for Public Service, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Public Service Award, and the 2015 Maryland Military & Veteran Women Business Conference Woman Veteran of the Year Award.
