Noon Home aims to bring smart, layered lighting to the masses through technology that customizes lighting to every fixture, bulb, room size and activity to help eliminate headaches and stress. The startup, which has raised $50 million in venture funding from firms such as Shasta Ventures and Lux Capital, started selling its $399.99 starter kit in October. Annie Cheung, a Salt Lake City native, worked at Cisco as a product manager and as a General Assembly instructor in Hong Kong before founding Noon with former executives from Nest and August two years ago. Cheung's work with Noon Home landed her a spot on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Consumer Technology.
