Ant Middleton, a British adventurer, television personality, and former UK Special Forces soldier, is most renowned as the former Chief Instructor for Channel 4’s hit show, "SAS: Who Dares Wins." After a successful tenure, he also appeared as the Chief Instructor on the Australian version of "SAS: Who Dares Wins" and as the host of the reality adventure show "Million Dollar Island."

In 2018, Middleton made headlines by climbing Mount Everest for the TV show "Extreme Everest with Ant Middleton," a feat that further tested his endurance and determination. This feat was in addition to his involvement with other television shows, such as "Mutiny" and "Escape," where he showcased his leadership and survival skills. Notably, in 2017, Middleton captained a team of men in Channel 4's re-enactment of Captain William Bligh's journey after the infamous 'Mutiny on the Bounty' and led teams of engineers as they attempted to build a vehicle in extreme environments in the show "Escape." Looking ahead, Middleton is set to star in the film, Shelter.

Prior to his television career, Middleton served in the army from 1998 and later enlisted in the Royal Marines in 2005. His distinguished military career includes four years in the Special Boat Service, deployments to Afghanistan, and an appointment as Chief Cadet and Honorary Captain in the Royal Navy's Volunteer Cadet Corps in 2019. After leaving the military, Middleton worked as a security guard for VIPs and as a security expert in South Africa and for various West African governments.

Moreover, Middleton is a prolific author with several books to his name, including "SAS: Who Dares Wins: Leadership Secrets from the Special Forces" and "First Man In: Leading from the Front." "First Man In" reached No. 1 on The Sunday Times Best Seller List. Middleton has also ventured into fiction with novels such as "Cold Justice" and "Red Mist."
