Actor, Producer, Comedian, Writer & Game Show Host, Best Known for ABC’s "Black-ish"

Anthony currently stars in and executive produces the ABC comedy BLACK-ISH, where he plays ‘Dre.’ Anderson has been nominated for both a Golden Globe & Emmy for his performance on the show and recently directed the 5th season finale. The show was recently renewed for a 7th season! He also appeared as the same character in ABC’s “Mixe-Ish” and “Grown-Ish”. Anderson is also working on upcoming romantic comedy “Football or Me”, a remake of the hit Argentinian film.

Anderson is previously best known for starring in his own original WB sitcom, “All About the Andersons”. Additionally, he played the memorable role of ‘Detective Kevin Bernard’ in the final seasons of NBC’s long running Emmy Award-winning drama LAW & ORDER. Anderson stars as ‘Gary,’ a hilarious and doting stay-at-home dad of four in NBC’s “Guys with Kids”. He is also known for his lead role in Fox’s action-drama K-VILLE as ‘Marlin Boulet,’ a cop who loves the Crescent City more than his wife and daughter and his role as ‘Antwon Mitchell,’ a drug kingpin who, having been released from a lengthy prison sentence, tried to reinvent himself in FX’s drama thriller THE SHIELD. In addition to these roles, Anderson has also hosted the annual NAACP Image Awards for seven consecutive years (2014-2020), 2015 & 2016 BET Awards, as well as the ABC game show “To Tell the Truth”, a funny re-imagination of the beloved 1950’s game show for 4 seasons.

Anderson has become familiar to audiences and showcased his talent through roles in prominent films such as the Michael Bay blockbuster “Transformers” (2007), Martin Scorsese’s Oscar-winning feature “The Departed” (2006) alongside a stellar cast including Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon and Jack Nicholson, and the all-star comedy “The Big Year” (2011). He recently starred in, mystery thriller “Small Town Crime:” , animated comedy “The Star”, and the animated comedy “Ferdinand”, all released in 2017. Anderson first gained attention as one of Jim Carrey’s sons in “Me, Myself and Irene” and has since appeared in such films as “Exit Wounds” (2001), “Two Can Play That Game” (2001), “Malibu’s Most Wanted” (2001), the “Barbershop” franchise (2002), “Scary Movie Three” (2003), “Kangaroo Jack” (2003), , “Cradle 2 the Grave” (2003), “My Baby’s Daddy” (2004), “Agent Cody Banks 2” (2004) and “Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle” (2004).

Anderson is a passionate foodie, who recently had his own show on the Food Network entitled EATING AMERICA, in which Anderson traveled to the best food festivals in America. He also had his own AOL series “Anthony Eats America” in which he traveled the country searching for the best home cooks. Anderson has also been a recurring guest judge on Food Network’s “Iron Chef America.”
