Antonio Campo Dall’Orto  

CEO MTV South Europe

Antonio Campo Dall’Orto became CEO of Telecom Italia Media in 2007, after two years as General Director. In this role he oversaw all of Telecom Italia’s media businesses, including La7 TV and 51% of MTV Italia. In April 2008 he stepped down to focus entirely on leading the MTV Southern Europe business, although remains on the Telecom Italia Media board of directors.

Previously Antonio has held many senior operational positions in the broadcast field including Head of Programming for La7 (2003-05); Managing Director of MTV South Europe (1999-2003) and MTV Italia (1997-99); and Vice-Director of Canale 5 for Mediaset (1992-96).

Antonio has always been aware of the responsibility of the media, devoting great attention to highlight and communicate social campaigns. While at MTV he championed MTV Italia’s support of the UN’s 2002 Millennium Campaign, making them the only Italian TV channel to do so, and for his efforts was honoured in 2006 with the title of Millennium Campaign “Advocate”. Antonio graduated in Economy in 1988 at the Venice University and gained a Master in Marketing and Communication from Publitalia, Milan, in 1992.
