Anu Aiyengar is a global co-head of mergers and acquisitions at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and was formerly the head of J.P. Morgan’s North American Mergers & Acquisitions Group. She is responsible for the marketing and execution of advisory assignments in North America and has advised both domestic and international clients on over $500 billion worth of transactions since 1999. These transactions include mergers, acquisitions, divestitures/separations, leveraged buyouts, proxy contests, unsolicited transactions, and special committee assignments. Aiyengar also serves on J.P. Morgan’s fairness and valuation committee.

As the co-chair of the Investment Bank's women network (WOTM-CIBN), she is deeply involved with several initiatives across J.P. Morgan and Wall Street to recruit, mentor, and develop women. She has been recognized for her impact and innovative efforts with the "Impact and Innovation Award" from Dress for Success. Additionally, she has been featured in Forbes' Under 30 list. Aiyengar is a frequent panelist and speaker at various events, including the Wall Street Journal's "2019 ANNUAL WOMEN IN FINANCE DINNER," Women Corporate Directors, Women’s Private Equity Summit, The Asian Women in Business, and the South Asian Bar Association Leadership Awards. She also serves as a guest lecturer at Harvard Business School and Chicago Booth and has been quoted and featured in various financial press and media. Currently, she is also the Co-Chair of Smith's Business Advisory Board.

Aiyengar started her career at American Express before joining JPMorgan Chase & Co. She holds a BA in Economics and Computer Science from Smith College and an MBA from Vanderbilt University.
