Aravind Srinivas is an Indian-American computer scientist and the co-founder and CEO of Perplexity AI, a company on a mission to build the world's most trusted information service. Perplexity AI has built the world's first generally available conversational answer engine that directly answers questions about any topic.

Srinivas co-founded the company in 2022 after working as a research scientist at OpenAI, Google, and DeepMind. To date, Perplexity has raised over $100 million from investors including Jeff Bezos, Nat Friedman, Elad Gil, and Susan Wojciki.

Srinivas received his PhD in computer science from University of California, Berkeley.
