Ari Rastegar is an American real estate investor, CEO of Rastegar Property Company, and author of "The Gift of Failure," published in July 2022.

In 2006, while attending law school, Rastegar began investing in real estate. After graduation, he began working for John Read, an attorney in Dallas. In 2010, he met New York investor Anthony Orso, who moved Rastegar to New York and funded his event hosting venture, Capital A Entertainment. He began investing in properties in the Austin area in 2012. Rastegar returned to Texas in 2015 and founded Rastegar Capital, a private real estate investment firm headquartered in Austin. By January 2017, Rastegar's firm had $500 million in assets under management. Rastegar has successfully invested and exited in 38 cities, 12 states, 7 different asset classes, and 2 countries. Currently, he is one of the most prolific buyers, owners, and developers in the Austin MSA, originally his hometown.

Forbes recently labeled him, “The Oracle of Austin.” In 2021 he was inducted into the Commercial Observer’s Power 100 list, which ranks the topmost influential power players in the commercial real estate world. He is the youngest inductee ever to grace the page.
