Olypmic Swimmer; Former World Record Holder

Ariana Kukors is an American former competition swimmer and former world record holder in the 200-meter individual medley (long course). Kukors now works in private coaching related to athletic performance. Kukors has won a total of seven medals in major international competition, two golds, three silvers, and two bronze spanning the World and the Pan Pacific Championships. Kukors had her Olympic debut in the 2012 London Olympic Games. She placed fifth in the 200-meter individual medley event.

Kukors placed in the 2011, 2009, and 2007 FINA World Championships in events such as the 200m IM, 4x200m Freestyle Relay, and 400m IM. Ariana is currently the world record holder in the Women’s 200m IM, which was set in 2009.

Originally from Auburn, Washington, she first started swimming when her older sister, Emily, influenced her at a young age. Both Kukor’s sisters Emily and Mattie held an impressive collegiate swimming career. In 2011, Kukors graduated from Chapman University with a degree in business. Outside the pool, Kukors loves to go to the beach, read, and play with her dog Sierra.
