Arielle Zuckerberg joined Coatue in May 2018 to help spearhead an early stage fund alongside Matt Mazzeo, Yanda Erlich and Matt Mulvey -- a major departure for the growth-stage investor and hedge fund. Zuckerberg had already built a reputation in the venture world: as a partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, she invested in The Wing, Willo, Voodoo Manufacturing and Handshake. A part-time DJ who graduated from Claremont McKenna College, she worked at two acquired startups, Wildfire Interactive and Humin, and is a personal investor in companies including Flipkart and Houzz.
