Arkady Dvorkovich      

Aide to the President Russian Federation

Arkady Dvorkovich is Aide to the Russian President, Dmitry Medvedev. He has held this position as well as Russian Sherpa in the Group of Eight leading industrial nations since May 2008.

Previously, Mr Dvorkovich was Head of the Presidential Experts' Directorate; has served as Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade, and prior to that, as an Advisor and Economic Expert in the Ministry of Finance. He has served as an advisor on economics and strategic development in the Russian government for the last 16 years.

Mr Dvorkovich received his degree in Economic Cybernetics from Moscow State University, and a Master in Economics from Duke University, USA.

He is 38 years old and speaks English and German.
