Arsalan Iftikhar is an international human rights lawyer, global media commentator, and author of Islamic Pacifism: Global Muslims in the Post-Osama Era. He is an adjunct professor at DePaul University in Chicago and senior editor for The Islamic Monthly magazine. Huffington Post named his Twitter feed one of the top twelve Muslim Twitter accounts in 2011. Iftikhar is a regular on-air commentator for NPR, and his interviews, commentaries, and analyses have regularly appeared in numerous media outlets around the world. He is a senior fellow at Ali Vural Ak Center for Global Islamic Studies at George Mason University.
