Former CEO of Gap, Inc.

Art Peck is a businessman who served as the CEO of Gap from February 2015 to November 2019.

Prior to serving as CEO of Gap, he was the president of growth, innovation, and digital, beginning in 2013. In that role, Peck provided Gap, Inc.'s portfolio of brands with world-class digital capabilities and expertise, building upon the company's leadership position in e-commerce. He also guided the growth of the Athleta, Piperlime, and INTERMIX brands.

Since joining Gap, Inc. in 2005, Peck held key roles with the company. Peck served as president of Gap North America, where he was instrumental in driving the positive performance of the company's namesake brand. As head of the outlet business from 2008 to 2010, he delivered earnings and sales growth and led the outlet business to a global footprint.

In addition, Peck served as executive vice president of strategy and operations. During his time in that role, he played an integral part in the acquisition of Athleta.

Peck came to Gap, Inc. from The Boston Consulting Group, an international strategy and management consulting firm, where he served as senior vice president and director.

He is a graduate of Occidental College in Los Angeles and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
