After falling in love with data and psychology at an early age, Artem Petakov grounded his career in the principles of science. Following a career at Google as a Software Engineer who was responsible for leading the User-Created Map Content team, Petakov and co-founder Saeju Jeong founded Noom.

As President, Petakov leads the Product, Engineering, Growth, Brand & Talent teams at Noom. In 2020, Petakov was named to Fortune’s 40 Under 40 in healthcare and one of Business Insider’s 30 leaders under 40 who are transforming US healthcare.
