Artem Volynets as a CEO of En+ Group is responsible for the operational management and implementation of strategies aimed to turn the group into a global leader in the mining, metallurgy, energy and strategy-related industries.

Artem Volynets is a Member of the Board of Directors of UC RUSAL, EuroSibEnergo and Hong Kong Mercantile Exchange.

Up until he joined EN+ Group, Mr. Volynets worked for three years at UC RUSAL as Director of Corporate Strategy and Business Development. He headed up the company’s IPO on the HKSE, as well as several major acquisitions, including a 25% stake in Norilsk Nickel.

From 2009-10, he served as the Head of the International Aluminum Institute – an organization uniting over 80% of the world’s aluminum producers.

Mr. Volynets also held senior management positions at SUAL, representing the company during merger talks between UC RUSAL and Glencore. From 1997 to 2003, Mr. Volynets worked in the UK in the international consulting company Monitor Group, where he realized more than 25 major strategic projects and mergers for leading global companies.

Mr. Volynets graduated from the Moscow State University, specializing in Geography. He continued his education in the US with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from American University (Washington D.C.) and an MBA from Georgetown University. He also studied at INSEAD (the European Institute of Business Administration).
