Ashaka Givens is a fashion designer, wardrobe stylist, and milliner. She appeared in the 2019 documentary She Did That, an in-depth look at Black women entrepreneurs.

Back in 2003, Women's Wear Daily described Givens's collection as "slinky and seventies a la Halston with a dash of bohemia." The fashion trade magazine subsequently gave Givens a nod for "most promising designer" in 2005 for her sleek red-carpet-ready looks.

Givens has designed looks for celebrities including Erykah Badu, Missy Elliott, and Annabelle Sciorra.

Givens is also a bridal designer, and the hallmarks of an Ashaka bride are sumptuous fabrics and alluring silhouettes. Additionally, Givens has worked as a costume designer.
