Ashley Bisman is the author of "CHASING BUTTERFLIES: The True Story of a Daughter of 9/11." Bisman was inspired to share her story, having lost her father on September 11, 2001. She is honored to offer a fresh perspective, one from a new generation, about that fateful day. Bisman had the opportunity to share her memoir on The Today Show, CBS, FOX, and The Wall Street Journal. She is honored to have received the Indies Today 2021 Memoir of the Year Award.

Bisman received her Master’s degree in Childhood Special Education from Hunter College with certificates in Early Childhood and Gifted and Talented Education. These degrees have enabled Bisman to write a childrens book about 9/11, to be released in 2023. She majored in Journalism at The Pennsylvania State University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree.
