Asya Branch is a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss USA 2020. She is the first woman from Mississippi to be crowned Miss USA, and she was the first Black woman to be crowned Miss Mississippi USA.

She previously was crowned Miss Mississippi 2018 and went on to compete in Miss America 2019, where she was unplaced. She did place 2nd-runner up in the Quality of Life awards at the pageant. In 2018, she was named Ole Miss's Most Beautiful.

Branch was born in Booneville, Mississippi, to A.T. Branch and Kristal Branch. Her father was incarcerated for 10 years while she was growing up, leading to her becoming an advocate for criminal justice reform. She met with President Donald Trump in 2018 to discuss ways to help formerly incarcerated people reintegrate into society upon their release.

Branch values the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and loves to hit the gym for extensive weight training sessions. She also loves to travel, read, and promote her cosmetic line, Branch Beauty.

She is a student at the University of Mississippi, pursuing a degree in integrated marketing communications with an emphasis and public relations.
