Contemporary Christian Music Singer-Songwriter

Audrey Assad is a contemporary Christian music artist and singer-songwriter. Her captivating voice weaves together her contemplative and accessible Christian music.

Her debut album, The House You're Building, was released through Sparrow Records in July 2010 and went on to be named on's list of Best Christian Music of 2010, as well as the Christian and Gospel Breakthrough Album of the Year on iTunes.

She has worked and toured with other well-known contemporary Christian music artists such as Chris Tomlin, Tenth Avenue North, Matt Maher, and Jars of Clay.

Her fifth studio album, Evergreen, was released in 2018.

Assad was raised in a devout Protestant home, but in 2007, she converted to Catholicism. Although her family was religious, Assad was still exposed to secular music from a young age, including the Carpenters, Celine Dion, and James Taylor. Through her father's influence, she also was acquainted with French and Middle Eastern musical traditions.
