Aya Shechter Interim National Executive Director [email protected] Born and raised in Israel, Aya moved to New York in 2007 after meeting Yoni Shechter, to whom she is now married. Aya joined Dor Chadash almost immediately after arriving to New York and became involved with the Educational and Cultural committees Aya is a graduate of Bar Ilan University in Israel where she earned her B.Sc in Microbiology and M.Sc in Biotechnology. She earned her LL.B from Ono Academic College and her LL.M, with specialization in Intellectual Property, from Cardozo School of Law. She is currently pursuing a professional certificate from NYU in philanthropy and fundraising. Aya was the Co-Chair of the Educational Committee, a Dor Chadash board member and was very involved in the American-Israeli community in New York before becoming the Interim Executive Director of the organization.
