Ayanna began as blogger. Reporting on trends piqued my interest and she later found herself assisting celebrity stylists with their clients. She quickly built her own clientele with several musicians.

While working as an aspiring stylist, Ayanna also sought opportunities to work in film and television. Her work on independent features and episodics led her to the incomparable Issa Rae. Issa, whom 3 years later offered Ayanna the title of Costume Designer for 3 seasons of HBO's hit show, Insecure. Insecure is most notably known for its sharp comedy, great soundtrack and stunning wardrobe. Ayanna also had the pleasure of working with Ava Duverynay on Jay Z's "Family Feud", later designed the 2018 MTV Movie and TV Awards with comedienne Tiffany Haddish and created an exciting new look for Disney's latest live-action comedy "Gabby Duran".

Ayanna loves telling stories through wardrobe and I'm a huge advocate for emerging designers of color and sustainable brands.
