He is best known for writing and directing the film Flashbacks of a Fool (2008) starring Daniel Craig, Eve, Harry Eden, and Felicity Jones.

Walsh is currently working on a Bruce Springsteen documentary titled, Springsteen & I.

The documentary will be made up of fan video and photo submissions on what Springsteen's music means to them.

The film is due for release in 2013.
