Barry Cordero is the Vice President of Operations at Airborne Systems, a defense and space manufacturing company, and a founder of Rolling Belt Inspired Solutions, LLC, his professional training and consulting service. Prior to his role at Airborne Systems, he was Senior Director of Manufacturing Operations at a Stealth-mode Startup in San Diego, CA. A veteran of the US Navy, Cordero has 16 years of experience in the medical device industry, with the majority spent at Medtronic PLC.

Cordero is passionate about diversity in Corporate America, specifically in tech companies. His passion for diversity landed him roles such as chairman and CEO of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, co-founding member of Medtronic’s Hispanic Latino Network executive committee, and founder of the SHPE Medtronic Professional Chapter.
