Beattra Wilson is a senior leader and urban forestry professional in the U.S. federal government. She leads a national program that conserves and grows trees and greenspace in urban communities—overseeing program policy, budget, and partnership development. Beattra has completed White House assignments on forest conservation and diversity and inclusion and has been recognized nationally as an environmental champion and diversity leader.

Beattra is founder of IDEATION308, a diversity and inclusion consulting firm, and was recently a contributing writer for AGDAILY, focusing on racial justice and equity in agriculture and rural America. Wilson sits on the Board of Directors of Chesapeake Conservancy, a regional nonprofit dedicated to the preservation and accessibility of the Chesapeake Bay. She holds degrees in Urban Forestry and Public Administration, and resides in the suburbs of Washington, DC with her family.
