Beau Breslin  

Law Professor and Author of "A Constitution for the Living: Imagining How Five Generations of Americans Would Rewrite the Nation's Fundamental Law"

Beau Breslin is the Joseph C. Palamountain Jr. Chair in Government and former Dean of the Faculty/Vice President for Academic Affairs at Skidmore College. He holds a Ph.D. in Constitutional Thought from the University of Pennsylvania.

He is the author of "The Communitarian Constitution" (2004), "From Words to Worlds: Exploring Constitutional Functionality" (2009), which was part of the Johns Hopkins Series in Constitutional Thought, and his latest work, "A Constitution for the Living: Imagining How Five Generations of Americans Would Rewrite the Nation’s Fundamental Law" (2021).

In addition to writing about constitutional issues, Breslin has also published works on capital punishment, restorative justice, and legal philosophy.
