Gender Fluid Actor Known for "The Last of Us" & "Game of Thrones"

Bella Ramsey is an actor who first gained recognition for their role in the Netflix series "Hilda," which earned them the 2019 BAFTA award for best "Children's Animation." Their performance in "The Worst Witch" won them the Young Performer award at the 2019 British Academy Children's Awards. Ramsey's portrayal in the historical comedy film "Catherine Called Birdy" also caught the attention of the Critics' Choice Movie Award, leading to a nomination for Best Young Performer.

It was in the HBO post-apocalyptic drama series "The Last of Us" that Ramsey truly showcased their acting prowess. They played the character of Ellie, a role which earned them nominations for a Primetime Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and others.
