Ben Daniels initially began his career as a stage actor, making his Broadway debut in the revival of "Les Liaisons Dangereuses," for which he was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Play. He later appeared in television series "Cutting It," "The Virgin Queen," "Law & Order: UK," "The Paradise," "House of Cards," and "The Exorcist."

Daniels has held many roles in films, including "Wish You Were Here," "The Bridge," "Conspiracy," "Jack the Giant Slayer," "The Exception," "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" and "Captive State." His roots, however, stay in the theatre following his broadway debut in "Luise Miller," "Don't Dress For Dinner" and "Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert!," which was nominated for the Grammy Awards as Best Musicial Theater Album. He also appeared in "Manor," in 2020.

In 2019, Daniels returned to the television screen and appeared in the third season of "The Crown," and the following year landed a role as series regular in "Jupiter's Legacy."
