Ben Hallen

Professor.

Ben Hallen keynotes address issues that business leaders are likely to encounter in their ventures. He speaks about building effective teams and relationships. He explores how to get the most out of one's education. He also examines the role networks play in business and how such networks can be leveraged to improve business. His insights into these matters are drawn from rigorous, academic study.

Hallen is an assistant professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the London Business School, University of London. His research focuses on how entrepreneurs can attract talent and venture capitalists in order to further their projects. Although, as is apparent in his keynotes, Ben Hallen's own educational background is mainly in science and engineering rather than business.

Hallen holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and M.C.S. in Computer Science from the Unviersity of Virginia, furnishing him with a fresh yet informed perspective into the entrepreneurial world. Still, his formal business education is top notch too, as he holds a Ph.D in Strategy, Organizations, and Entrepreneurship from Stanford University.
