Parenthood Advocate & Former Tight End for the New England Patriots

NFL Legend, family man and notable activist/speaker, Benjamin Watson takes being an athlete for change to new heights. A first-round draft pick and Super Bowl Champion, Watson was a true talent and offensive force. As an NFL legend, Watson was a key playmaker for teams such as the Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens, New Orleans Saints, and New England Patriots. With 547 receptions and over 6,000 yards in his career, Watson has been a model of consistency and talent through his 16 years in the league.

Watson’s impact goes beyond the field, his uncanny ability to objectively address controversial topics, in such an eloquent manner has placed him on major TV networks. Just recently, Watson became the VP of strategic relationships for the Human Coalition organization, where he leads the fight for the Pro-Life movement. This dedicated father of seven and husband constantly preaches family values through his platform. He says the biggest game in life—parenting. Watson has always and will continue to take it upon himself to be a part of the conversation: amplifying a message of positivity, progression and faith.

At the age of 42, Watson has accomplished the American dream: He played 16 seasons in the NFL, was a team member on the New England Patriots, and scored a championship ring in Super Bowl XXXIX.

However, one of Watson’s greatest passions in life is to protect the lives of the most defenseless. As one of the most outspoken pro-life voices in media, Watson and his wife Kirsten personally devote their time and money to assist pregnancy resource centers. He has also addressed the March for Life, which takes place every year in Washington, D.C.

In 2020, Watson stared in “Divided Hearts of America”, a moving pro-life film that is was produced by himself alongside many notable pro-life advocates such as Alveda King, Ben Carson, and Abby Johnson.

Watson and his wife are also founders of One More, a non-profit organization dedicated to impacting the lives of those in need by providing enrichment opportunities and promoting education through charitable initiatives and partnerships.

Married for 15 years, Benjamin and Kirsten Watson are the parents to seven beautiful children and forever strive to carry out the mission God has for their family. Micah 6:8 is their family verse, which reads, "He has shown you, O mortal, what is good, And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly, to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." They have memorized this verse as a family and often discuss the meanings and importance of justice, mercy and humility. Benjamin and Kirsten hope and pray that their kids will carry these traits into adulthood, and that they will tell people about Jesus while remembering the importance of Micah 6:8 as they navigate the world.

Kirsten is an NFL wife, mother, activist and speaker who has dedicated her life to faith and her loved ones. After graduating from the University of Georgia with a degree in Marketing and Spanish, she worked for a Fortune 500 company and then entered into the non-profit arena. With Benjamin, she founded the One More Foundation, which is devoted to spreading love and hope to "one more" soul. Kirsten is a self-proclaimed "foodie" who loves time with family and friends having deep conversations about life and Kingdom building. She has a heart for young girls and women and truly desires to speak truth in love when it comes to navigating life.

Watson is a husband, father, author and 16-year NFL legend who retired from football in 2020. A standout athlete in high school in South Carolina, in college at Duke and Georgia, and in the NFL for four teams, Watson concluded his pro career with 547 receptions, 6,058 yards, 44 touchdowns and a Super Bowl ring. A Finance graduate of University of Georgia his philanthropic efforts were recognized in 2015 & 2017 when he was named a Walter Payton Man of the Year finalist, and in 2017 he received the prestigious Bart Starr Award. He has written two books: "Under Our Skin," which garnered critical acclaim and led to his second literary work, "The New Dad’s Playbook." Furthermore, Watson’s ability to objectively address controversial topics has placed him on major TV networks, such as ABC’s "Good Morning America," CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and the Christian Broadcasting Network. He also recently executive-produced "Divided Hearts of America," a documentary looking at the debate around abortion.
