Emmy-winning Journalist, Bestselling Author, Media Critic

Bernard Goldberg, a television news reporter and author, has distinguished himself in broadcast journalism with his penetrating insights into the media. His book "Bias," a New York Times number one bestseller, discusses how the media distorts news, highlighting his role as a critical observer of journalistic practices. Goldberg has an extensive career in journalism, having covered stories globally for CBS News, where he won six Emmys, and at HBO, where he secured eight more, totaling 14 Emmy awards for excellence in journalism. He is currently a reporter for HBO's acclaimed "Real Sports."

His works consistently provide critical perspectives on American culture and the media's role within it.

Goldberg has been honored multiple times with the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University Award. He received this prestigious acknowledgment for an HBO story that brought to light the plight of young boys used as camel jockeys in the UAE, and for his investigative efforts on the long-term effects of head trauma on athletes. Additionally, his investigative report "Lord of the Rings" on HBO, which exposed corruption in the International Olympic Committee, also earned him a duPont-Columbia Award. His reporting has not only won accolades but also sparked significant discussions on sports and ethics.

Outside of his books and documentaries, Goldberg has contributed op-ed pieces to The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post, covering topics from journalism to societal behaviors. He serves as an analyst for Fox News, where he provides insights into the press, politics, and culture.
