Beth joined Bloomberg News in Singapore in 2004, covering Southeast Asian companies, currencies and governments, focusing on state-linked enterprises and sovereign wealth funds. She oversaw Indochina news for three years as Bloomberg’s Bangkok Bureau Chief, coordinating coverage including the 2004 tsunami, Thailand’s military coup, stock market crash, and capital controls. Prior to Bloomberg, Beth was the transport correspondent for The Business Times, covering the shipping and aviation industries for Singapore’s daily financial newspaper.
