Beth Viner is an Associate Partner at IDEO in New York City. Beth takes a dual role working with design teams to help them understand how design and innovation will have impact for clients as well as working directly with clients to think strategically about what challenges and engagements IDEO can best help them to address. Beth works specifically with clients where systems design plays a large role- be that in understanding franchise-based organizations like those in hospitality and retail; education; health care; financial services; and knowledge management and sharing. She works with clients including Marriott International, The Ritz-Carlton, Weight Watchers, American Red Cross, Nike, The Rockefeller Foundation and more. Beth also supports IDEO’s work in South America and acts as a liason between IDEO and IDEO.org as we engage across the social sector on issues relating to poverty.

Before joining IDEO, Beth Viner worked in business development and strategy at Trilogy Software in Austin, Texas and with FordDirect in Dearborn, Michigan. She has also worked at Nike in US Brand and at the Athens 2004 Olympic Games. Beth holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communication, History, and Spanish from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration degree from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
