Beverly Kim, along with her husband Johnny Clark, is the co-owner of Parachute, an award winning restaurant in Chicago. Parachute serves modern Korean-American cuisine and was named Restaurant of the Year in 2014 by Eater Chicago, in the first year the restaurant was open.
Additionally, Parachute was named Chicago's Best New Restaurant 2015 by the Chicago Tribune and was a finalist for the James Beard's Best New Restaurant category in 2015. She was again a finalist for the James Beard in 2017. Prior to opening Parachute, Beverly Kim was a finalist on the 2012 season of the reality show Top Chef.
