General Partner at Spark Capital & Early Twitter Investor

Bijan has been a General Partner at Spark Capital since the firm’s inception. He led the investment in Twitter (NYSE: TWTR) in early 2008 and served on their board from 2008-2011. Bijan also led investments in Tumblr (acquired by Yahoo!), Jelly, Sincerely (acquired by Liberty Interactive Corporation), Stack Exchange, RunKeeper, Foursquare, Boxee (acquired by Samsung), OMGPOP (acquired by Zynga) and thePlatform (acquired by Comcast).

Prior to joining Spark, Bijan held senior business development and product management roles at startup companies: GameLogic (acquired by Scientific Games), Moxi Digital (acquired by Digeo) and WebTV Networks (acquired by Microsoft Corporation). He also served as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Charles River Ventures.

Bijan Sabet holds a B.S. degree from Boston College and is married with three kids.
