Bilal Baig is a writer, actor and producer for stage and screen. Baig’s published works include their first play, "Acha Bacha," which was nominated for the Dayne Ogilvie prize from the Writer’s Trust of Canada in 2022. As well, they co-edited an anthology of monologues for queer/trans artists titled "This Is Beyond" in 2023, both titles published by Playwrights Canada Press.

Baig co-created, executive produced and starred in three seasons of the Peabody Award-winning series "Sort Of" from CBC, Sphere Media and Max. Baig received a nomination for Outstanding Performance in a New Series at the 2022 Gotham Awards, and won Best Comedy Series, Best Comedy Writing and Best Lead Performance - Comedy at the 2023 Canadian Screen Awards.
