Billie Cash is a gifted retreat/conference speaker who shares delightful content, insight and authenticity with her audiences. While at University of Memphis, her communication skills prepared her for successful ventures in radio, television, theatrical roles, writing and teaching.

Billie's experience as a military wife alongside her husband U.S. Navy Captain (Retired) Roy Cash, a former fighter pilot, spanned thirty years. Managing moves, separations, and raising children was her focus. Her daughter, Kellye Cash Sheppard, is a former Miss America (1987) and her son is U.S. Navy Chaplain, LCDR Carey Cash, author of best seller, "A Table in The Presence." Her life as a military wife led to a ministry of encouragement which began in America but opened international doors to Christian organizations with itineraries in the British Isles and the Dominican Republic.

Billie Cash has been featured on Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) and has held leadership positions with Womens' Connection groups coast to coast. She developed motivational workshops on topics such as Burnout, Self Esteem,and Solitude, which were extended to hospital nursing staffs, Navy ships and shore commands, professional womens' civic and marketing clubs.

The author of six books, Billie refers to them as "Signposts" to Christian Living. They are: "Windows of Assurance," "Light Breaking Through," "Autumn Rain," "Prayer Surge," "A Pillow on the Highway," and "The Shelter." Billie speaks as she writes with dynamic bursts of insight, grounded in careful study and delivered in an energized, winsome way. Prayer is the work of her life. Purpose drives her search for truth. Perseverance with joy is her goal. Presently she is engaged in speaking on military bases at Stonecroft "Heart" events across the nation to honor the military wife and active duty women. These special gatherings connect women to each other, to their community and to God. Billie truly connects with women.
