A single opportunity has the potential to change a human life. No one knows that better than Bismack Biyombo. He stepped onto the basketball court at age 13 and instantly took to the sport. Five years later, Biyombo got his opportunity when he participated in the Nike Hoop Summit and recorded the first triple-double in the summit’s history. He was drafted into the NBA that same year and has been playing since 2011.

For most, making the NBA is the end goal. But for Biyombo, it’s just the beginning—the vehicle to multiply the opportunity he received. Beginning his rookie season, Biyombo has been celebrating and championing those who can change the world, if just given the chance.
