Blake Jenner is an American actor from Miami, Florida. As a child, Jenner was inspired early on by Jim Carrey and Michael Jackson. He began watching movies and listening to music in hopes of one day becoming an entertainer.

At the age of 9, Jenner wrote and performed short stories at school. He was determined to pursue a career in acting, so he participated in plays throughout middle school and high school while also appearing in some TV commercials.

After much training and patience, Blake realized that he had to relocate to Los Angeles in order to succeed in the entertainment industry. He graduated from high school early by taking online courses and made his dream a reality.

Upon moving to California, Blake carried many different jobs, including a fast food attendant, waiter, clothing store associate and parrot salesman. After countless auditions, Blake booked a role ont he ABC Family sitcom "Melissa & Joey" as guest star "Miller Collins," where he was first introduced to work in television.

In 2012, Jenner was selected through industry channels to audition as one of 14 contestants on the second season of "The Glee Project," a television reality show for which the prize is a guaranteed seven-episode arc on the following season of the Fox musical comedy-drama, "Glee." He was one of three finalists, and ultimately won.

After appearing as Ryder Lynn on the fourth season of Glee, he was later nominated and won at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards for Choice TV Breakout Star.

Jenner, along with co-stars Jacob Artist, Becca Tobin, Alex Newell and girlfriend Melissa Benoist were promoted to series regulars for the fifth season.
