Comprised of ALISHA, ANGELI, JI HAE, NACHO and VICTORIA, Blush is "5 girls from 5 Asian countries," and they are already enjoying unprecedented success within a short time thanks to their world-class talents and charm. The music of Blush is edgy and fun combining pop, R&B and dance into a unique spin, delivered by five gifted girls on a mission. Blush are the only singers to date, from Asia, to have their first two singles hit No. 3 ("Undivided" feat. Snoop Dogg) and No. 1 ("Dance On") on a major US Billboard Chart.
In May of 2010, FarWest Entertainment launched a talent search around Asia called "Project Lotus" to bring together 5 girls from 5 different countries; something that had never been attempted before in the music industry. After viewing over 3,500 auditions in China, India, Japan, South Korea & The Philippines, 35 girls were brought to a training academy in Hong Kong that would mould them into world class performers ready to take on the global stage. "Project Lotus" is a look into the lives of these girls as they strive to pursie their dreams. The entire journey was documented and made into an eight part mini-series that has aired on Fox's "Star World" and "Channel [V]" networks in Asia and "AXS" in the United States.
Within a short period of time, Blush has built a series of strong collaborations starting with opening for Justin Bieber as their first major performance in May 2011 and followed that sharing the bill with acts such as The Black Eyed Peas, B.o.B., Far East Movement, Jessie J, Jay Park, Diana Ross and Quincy Jones. Their US national TV debut was on the hit show "So You Think You Can Dance" where they were the featured artist along with Snoop Dogg. They've also been a featured artist on the soundtrack of the hit Disney Channel TV show "Shake It Up" with their original recording "Up, Up and Away" as well as having their music in the top EA game franchise "The Sims 3 Pets." Blush has performed at numerous high profile events around the globe including "Summer Sonic" in Tokyo, "APAHM Verizon Tour" in Los Angeles, "The Gay Pride Parade" in San Francisco and "NBA JAM Live" events in Beijing and Manila.
